Nirnaeth Arnoediad -- Unnumbered Tears
Here is a story that you must read. It brough me to tears. Me to tears. That sort of thing just doesn't happen; my tear ducts are defective or something. Seriously, if I had not had to literally fly out the door and been reading as fast as I could to get to my meeting on time, thus knowing that I could not cry--I would have. I'm sure of it. I was a hairsbreadth away. This is the most moving, touching, heartbreaking, amazing story I have ever read in any format. Beyond this World, by Thundera Tiger, is a tale of the Undying Lands long after Return of the King in which the end of the Fellowship finally comes to pass. And it is just so amazing... A tale of friendship, and love, and life, and death, and loss, and acceptance, and and and it will bring you to tears even if you've only seen the movies, I assure it. I mean...wow. I am just so far beyond moved, and so far beyond words. Read it, see for yourself...

Shoot, why do you always post sad stories?!?!?! This was so beautiful, and I only read the first chapter! (I didn't have time to read the others, but I plan to.) Cry? What is this "cry" you speak of? I was sobbing! Sobbing, woman! Tears pouring down my face, chest heaving, unable to breathe - I've rarely read something that made me cry so much. It was absolutely beautiful, and absolutely tragic. Gosh, I have to quit reading this stuff!

I'm terribly sorry you're quite welcome. I'm grieved to hear it distressed you I'm glad you liked it. The rest of it just gets better, trust me. You were crying now? Wait. And wait with tissues. Yeah...I really don't cry. I told my friend Erin today and she practically flipped out at the thought. But this one...this one so definately would have had be sobbing for about two minutes straight if I hadn't had to fly out the door to a meeting...so I couldn't cry--but it was the closest I have come in...quite some time. I'm weepy again just thinking about it...

(takes tissue) Oh, I need it! I just finished it. Incredible, perfect story. Wonderful... I'm kind of glad that Legolas died in the end, since he got to be with everyone again, but my goodness it was so sad! It was flawless. Thundera is amazing. Like you.

Well, Perspective, I must say that that was very amusing and a definite pick-me-up. Thanks for that! The Zogg are taking over! From now on, I will pay more attention to big-eyed toddlers so that I will not be sucked in by their attempts to conquer! (eyes her younger siblings suspiciously) And whoever took the time to make that thing has way too much time on their hands...
